This app would be great if it worked. But ever since the last upgrade, it just doesnt work right. It times out early, thinking the ride time has expired well before the actual expiration time. Sometimes it just quits tracking, even though other apps have no problem finding the gps signal. It just isnt reliable, not worth the trouble. Version 2.3.0 fixed some problems with the app "timing out" mid ride. But it still has a problem when I stop for a break. I dont know if it loses the GPS signal when I go inside a store, or if the problem is that I havent "moved" for 10 minutes. But the app stops tracking, and sends a bogus report. That "something went wrong". It would be a great app if it worked.

Great app. Easy to use. Peace of mind for athletes AND those who love them.

I still cant get audible alerts on my end. I have an iPhone 6+. Other than that, I love it!

Love the app and the safety that it brings. My only complaint is that it needs to use GPS all the time. Can it be changed to only when the app is in use?

Heard about this app when I ordered my Road ID wrist band. When I mountain bike alone, its a really nice security blanket as my wife gets notified of my start and finish, can track my progress, and will receive automatic notification if I am unexpectedly stationary for more than 5 minutes. My hope is that in the future the app will become more accurate on the distance measurement. The trail I ride is listed as 11.4 miles. My Cateye bike computer records it as 11.5 miles, but the Road ID app records is as 9.5 miles. Not a big deal, but hopefully will become closer to real distance with future upgrades. Update 9/8/2015. I checked with the company and was informed via email that the latest version should resolve the mileage inaccuracies. Its actually worse now. The same trail where I ride that is 11.4 miles is now recorded by the app as 7.81 miles. So...still not a useful tool for distance tracking in a mountain biking environment, but I still use it all the time to let my wife know I am alive and well. I appreciate the app since it is completely FREE!

I feel much better know that my family can follow me on my long bike rides. But the stationary alert on my phone doesnt work. It used to. I unloaded and reloaded and re linked to my phone, but it still doesnt work. This leads to false messages to family. Emailed company, but got no useful info. If they fixed this, I would give it a 5 star rating.

So glad that my wife is able to track me when I go out on rides. She worries so she would call me periodically forcing me to stop. Now she can see that Im moving and if I dont move for more than 5 minutes, she can get an alert. Goes hand in hand with my bracelet. Thank you RoadID

Great when it works, but loses GPS a lot. A little out in the countryside and it stops tracking. Yet I can still use my phone and Strava.

This app is GENIUS!!!! One of my all-time favs!! It gives me piece of mind knowing that my hubby (or contact of my choosing) knows my whereabouts when exercising alone, especially in the dark! Same goes for when hubby is trail riding alone. You never know what could happen; send your loved ones an ecrumb so they can at least find the body!

This app has good ideas and good intentions but leaves a little to be desired in the execution. The "Stationery Alert" has to be configurable; I dont want my spouse getting an alert every time I stop to eat something or to get coffee. Also, the lock screen should only substitute for the main lock screen when the app is active and front most.

This app is limited to two features that are not new to other fitness apps. Would suggest incorporating all RoadID data into the mobile app that is RoadID differentiator. One example would be the access to my health data and ICE contacts that can be shared with permissions setup.

I just LOVE this App!! My Parents & Specially My Boyfriend are Always Worried when I go out for Run on My Own but Not Anymore!!! Thanks to this AWESOME App!! They can Now Following Me on Runs!!!

I love the idea of this app. I have a road id for my Fitbit but wanted to download the app for my phone as well. I can do almost everything but add an emergency contact to the display, which is basically the whole purpose of the app! I hope future updates fixes this problem!

This is an amazing app! Thank you so much for it. I am on the road everyday on my 40 miles bicycle commute and it brings peace of mind to know that if something were to happen the people that I care about would know instantly.

love it! gives me and parents peace of mind when I go for a run. would recommend an update to make it look better and definitely add an Apple Watch component. also wish the screensaver with safety info could automatically set itself when app is in use and turn back into original screensaver when phone is off. all around, though, concept is amazing.

But I cant add an emergency contact. Whats the point without that?

I love this app! I can easily add and delete those I want to send tracker information to. I have not had any problems adding my emergency contact info. My only suggestion/ complaint is that it would so nice if the app also had a feature where I could log my mileage, time, etc.
